Laser hair removal FAQs
Specific wavelengths of laser light are selectively absorbed by melanin, the dark pigment which surrounds the hair follicle. The laser heats the follicle and disables the follicle at the root, causing the hair to fall out permanently.
Elysion laser uses an integrated patented ‘crystal freeze’ technology to keep the skin surface at a constant five degrees, thereby protecting the skin and ensuring a comfortable treatment. The sensation is similar to a currented warmth in some areas, depending on every individual’s perception.
All lasers can only treat hair in the growing stage, or visible on the surface of the skin. At any one point, this represents approximately 30% of all hairs in the skin. The other hairs are dormant. There are three phases of hair growth, and we need to treat all three phases for maximum clearance.
This means typically a course of a minimum 8 treatments will be needed for the body area.
If you suffer from hormonal imbalances and you experience facial hair growth or robust hair growth overall, you may need a minimum of 10–12 sessions.
After the course of treatments mentioned above, you will need top-up sessions which might be done after 3-4 months if you suffer from hormonal imbalance or 6-12 months if you don’t suffer from any medical condition.
Please keep in mind that it is important to keep up with your appointments as scheduled in the treatment room. Frequently, delays in the treatment plan might lead to slower results and increased number of sessions needed.
We can treat all areas of the face and body.
The equipment we work with can effectively treat all skin types, we can also treat tanned skin.
We will carry out a comprehensive consultation and patch test, and we will advise you of the results you can expect to achieve.

Electrotherapy is an important beauty instrument. It is fed through the glass electrode tube to produce high frequency current and applied to the face or body.
When used as a direct method (therapist massaging clients skin with the glass electrode tube) produces the ozone for sterilization, can help wound to heal and to restrain pores. Improves secretion, the PH value, causes the skin to lean to neutrality. Has the function of anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and tightening.
When used with the indirect method (client holding the glass tube and the therapist performing massage on client’s face) helps improve blood circulation, calm the nerve and has analgesia function.
Not at all! You will feel a slight tingling, buzzing sensation – and it’s often a relaxing add on to your beauty treatment.Because the heating that occurs is mild, you shouldn’t experience any discomfort at all.

A professional peel is a form of exfoliation. Why do we need to exfoliate ?

Frequently, exfoliation is at cellular level and not apparent to the naked eye; however the peels will create a tighter and firmer complexion and appearance. You may notice a slightly peel of the skin in some areas.
Use the aftercare kit given to you at the end of your treatment. It helps hydrating and protecting the area treated.
